WELCOME!

First of all, I would like to thank you for reading this and for being here, on the main page of this group, as well as for joining.
Now, as any group around here, I should get to the point where I explain all about our goals and rules.

Rule #1
Be polite and respect all members of the group.

Rule #2
Try to be as active as possible, because this will help your art get promoted. More people find out about the group, more people see your art.

Rule #3
Photos should have a decent quality.

Rule #4
Post your personal art. NOT ALL OF IT

Rule #5
Your work must be finished. No Work in Progress (WIPs).

Rule #6
Respect the group`s folders, and submit your work in the right ones.

Rule #7
Enjoy your stay!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask by sending us a note.

hello everyone
It's been a long time scence the last time I made a entry (almost 2 years? o_0 ). So the first thing is:

:iconrosepeonie:rosepeonie is having a Giveaway of some DA pointsLa jumping in Points by Jibodeah and a little dragon Yellow, Black and Lilac Polkadot dragon 2 by rosepeonie that she made herself. The giveaway is simple, be a watcher of hers, favorite her journal and "Spread the word!". The giveaway ends July 31st, so get on it if you want some points or a little dragon to call your own. You can find out more information on her journal or you can ask her yourself (she's quite nice :))

With that said, I want to do a recap as it's been ALMOST TWO YEARS that I've made a journal entry, and I'm long due for it as we do have a few new members and to reiterate the situation here.
For our new members, :dummy: WELCOME :dummy:. It makes me happy that we get more new members every week, and some of you are even new to DeviantART. For that, WELCOME (again) to :devart:. If ANYONE has questions on how to submit or where to submit to, please PLEASE look back on my previous journal entry. It has all the club's rules in detail and another link to explain which submission  goes in which folder/gallery.
As for current news,...         there isn't any. Everything is still the same, I'm THE ONLY ONE running the club, I still have limited permissions (:stare:vary limited), and I still have a life out side this club (work, school, ect..). I never thought that I'd still be here after 4 years and still be kicking. Speaking of 4 years; it occurred to me that the club was founded just last month four years ago. So happy :party:anniversary? to us (or me?).
I like to thank you all for sticking around and supporting this group to make it this far.

I have nothing much else to say, so with that.
I bid you all adieu.

Hey guys! I am searching for someone who would be willing to make two pendants (shark related) in ceramics (or another solid stuff but not plastic) for me (just pendants, no necklace). I designed the pendants and have the digital drawing of what I want.
I know what you will say: go search on Etsy. I went there and apparently the tendance is: when you are not interested in a project just ignore the questions, don't answer and wait until the potential buyer forget all about you.
Please, if you are interested, don't hesitate to send me a note to talk some more and discuss things like price (at first I wanted it carved in stone but it is way too out of my budget)...
By the way I live in France so if you don't do International Shipping...
Thanks in advance!

Hello.
I wouldn't send you strait to Etsy but a lot of the artists here do have their own Etsy store (or even their own web site.)
We have many people here that make pendants and some are probably more then welcome to do your designed.
Most of them work with sculpey clay or wirewraping and clock work gears; you'll probably go for a sculpey clay one.
As for the shipping in France, I don't know what to say about that. All of our members are from all over the world, so who knows; maybe you'll find that is in France.
Here are some that I think would be able to do what you're asking:

If you find that they can't, then you're welcome to go through our Jewelry gallery and find someone with the art style you want.

Hope this helps,
Brian

p.s. I am the only one here running this club and I do have a life. So if I don't reply/respond in some time, I'm sorry I didn't get you it sooner.

\o/ I'm in the US but if you pay the shipping I don't mind taking on your request depending on what you would like. I work mostly in sculpey but I do know how to cast so I could give resins a go. Price will inevitably vary based on what you'd like.

Do not wonder about the time to answer, I get that people have a life and if you are alone to do the job, well it's even more understandable. In my opinion you answered pretty quickly!

Thank you for the names, I'll go check with them!

Hello, I'd suggest just finding pictures of work you like and for your first few tries, just trying to make that - it doesn't even need to be in clay, it can just be a drawing of something. Otherwise there are some great tutorials for beginner crafters. If you will be working in polymer clay, watch some videos on "skinner blends" and making small items out of standard shapes :)

Hope that helped.
